Here it is - the last day of Needle 'n Thread as we know it. I have to admit, I'm very comfortable with this "old" site - it's an obviously home-made custom job, pretty much out of date as far as looks go (was it ever quite "in date"? Probably not!).
But I know the site. It's familiar. And it's served its purpose well.
But sometimes, familiarity is not a good thing. Sometimes, we need to shake things up a bit! We need to get out of a rut, move in a new and direction.
Sometimes, we have to ditch the familiar for the new and unknown.
And sometimes, it works out really well when we do.
This is the case with the New Needle 'n Thread. The decision to change was difficult, but it will be worth it. I think the change will benefit you and me, and I'm excited to see where it leads us.
Without further ado, here's your sneak peek.
When the new site is up, don't look for green and purple and grey: look for deep red and gold, and crisp, clean white!

Look for clearer and easier sub-navigation, photo menus for the various major parts of the site, and all the content from the old site, with new content to come!
Folks who have subscribed via the e-mail newsletter and through a feedreader should be ok - once I start posting again, you'll receive the feed or the newsletter. Most links should survive the transition as well, and any that don't will be fixed.
