For those who have been waiting for the patterns, material list, and stitch guide for Festive Fall, it’s time to Celebrate! I finally finished it!
Goodness me, it’s been a rather hairy four weeks. I apologize for the delay in getting this one out!
Read on for all the details about the Festive Fall, including what’s in it, how my e-books work (they’re PDFs, so nothing too complicated), and where to pick up your copy.

Festive Fall: Decorative Autumn Corners for Hand Embroidery is a PDF download that includes three embroidery designs featuring a pumpkin, leaves, wheat, and decorative scrolls. Along with the designs, you’ll find information on fabric and threads used for the stitched samples featured in the e-book, color and stitch layout guides with suggestions for stitching, and step-by-step stitch instructions and tips for the various techniques used on my stitched samples.
Like my other e-books, the content is suitable for beginners and beyond, and you’ll find lots of tips within to help you successfully stitch the designs.
In this project, there’s a bit of focus on manipulating colors, so you’ll get some good practice playing with color selections, too.
Festive Fall is a 26-page e-book with interactive links throughout to help you. Why an e-book and not a printed book? There are many advantages to e-books these days, but one of my favorite aspects of PDFs is that you can really zoom in on the photos while viewing on your computer, tablet, or mobile device. You can see crisp, clear detail unlike any you’d ever see in a printed book, which is very helpful when you’re working a detailed embroidery project. The printed page constrains what you can see – but the electronic page gives you much more scope for seeing the details!
That said, you can print the PDF at home on your home printer, if you want to have a printed copy. You can also just print the pages you need – like a pattern page, or perhaps the stitch instruction pages.
Another huge advantage to e-books for embroidery projects: they’re accessible to anyone, anywhere, as long as you have an internet connection for the initial download. There’s no astronomical international shipping fees, either.
The Nitty Gritty Techy Stuff
As a digital download, the file will come to you in your email via a download link within minutes after purchasing. If you don’t receive it right away, check your email filters (promotion, spam, etc). The file will be delivered to the email address used at the time of purchase.
Before loading on an iPad, tablet, or mobile device, download the file to your computer first, and then move the file from your computer to your device. This is the most sure way of successfully transferring the file and it will leave you with the original copy on your computer for future use. If you have any difficulties with the download, etc., please contact me and I will help you out!
The PDF handles like any other PDF, so once it’s on your computer, you can move it to any device that supports PDFs.

The Towel Sets
There are presently a few of the Festive Fall ready-to-stitch towel sets available in my shop right now, as well. If they happen to sell out, you can always drop me a line and ask to be put on the advanced notice list for the next time they’re in stock. It will be a while before I make up new sets, I think. I need a bit of a break to gather my thoughts and reset my priorities as we move into the last few months of the year!
