To all my dear friends and stitching cohorts, I hope you and those dear to you have a very happy Christmas, full of innumerable blessings!
I’ll be spending the day with my family most of the day. Visitors usually pop in and out here at home during the morning hours, and then we gather at my sister’s house for Christmas dinner, plenty of good cheer, music, games, and other lively fun!
I’m pretty sure I won’t be stitching today unless I find a quiet hour somewhere, but I plan to pick up my needle and thread with gusto this week. I’m plying the needle on a couple projects that have been neglected over the past several months, so I’ll show you new progress on those soon.
If you haven’t signed up for the last two installments of A Stitcher’s Christmas here on Needle ‘n Thread, you might check them out on the website. You’ll find #8 here (full of beautiful embroidery supplies) and #9 here (a fabulous pair of hand-crafted embroidery scissors). I’ll be drawing for both prizes tomorrow morning!
Then I’m planning to take a few days off from the website, so that I can do a little planning for the New Year. I’ll resurface at the end of the week!
May your Christmas be filled with peace and joy – and a whole lot of jolliness!
Love,
Mary
