Remember this embroidery pattern from last week that I shared with you, from Hinda Hands?

Today, I want to share with you another Hinda Hands design that makes a nice “small” – a little decorative practice piece that you can work up in practically any technique, though Hinda originally meant all of these pieces for goldwork.

Free Hand Embroidery Pattern - Hinda Hands

This week’s embroidery pattern is a little more elaborate than last week’s. I could see it worked as a practice piece for both silk shading and goldwork – though I would definitely reduce the design by about 80% when printing it, if going that route.

Like the previous Hinda Hands design, at the size this pattern will print automatically, it would make a nice exercise in soft shading in crewel work.

So, here’s the PDF printable. Choose “no scaling” or 100% if you’re looking for a larger design (about 5.5″ tall); otherwise, reduce by about 75-80% and test the size for something a bit smaller.
